Campaign Story
This fundraiser is to support Debbie at Wild About Woods in her efforts to maintain the Forest School she runs in Snowdrop Woods, Saltram.
A week ago today, Debbie arrived to set up for a childrens birthday party to find the site destroyed, for a second time, by vandals who'd burnt everything. Yesterday a small team of volunteers helped to recreate the site - it looks amazing!
Debbie has said that she'd love to be able to fund a small secure storage facility and some surveillance to try to deter the vandals in future. The response to the press coverage following last weeks destruction demonstrated how many people value Debbie and her Forest School. There was feedback from parents, children and even total strangers who haven't had the wonderful experience, but recognise the importance of this kind of opportunity.
I hope that together we can support Debbie to beat the vandals and keep the site alive!
