Support for Teresia, Cecilia and Esther

This is to raise funds for Teresia, Cecilia and Esther to cover their living costs during the next difficult period in their lives. They can’t legally work and need to recover from detention. Any little bit you can spare will go towards their food and toiletries, as well as phone costs and travel to their lawyers and the courts.

Teresia and her daughters, Cecilia and Esther are pursuing their ongoing asylum claims. Because the UK treats non-EU people as 2nd class citizens, they can’t legally work at this point. They have already fought so hard to make a new life here and to stay here after the government wrongly detained them. In addition, Teresia and her daughters have to deal with the after-effects of detention and the psychological violence the Home Office has used on them. They are not passive victims, they are preparing themselves for the next phase of the fight.

They do not have their own place to live anymore thanks to the government, and are staying with a friend. Any money is bound to help, and we can spread these costs thinly across many people.
