Nepal was hit by an earthquake of 7.9 richter scale followed by several huge aftershocks above 5.0 richter scales. Due to this more than 5,000 casualties have been reported so far and over 80 millions affected. The United Nations (UN) has appealed for USD 415 million to support the most crucial needs like emergency services and medical supplies, safe drinking water and sanitation, shelters, etc. for the next three months to 4.2 million people. Efforts would also be required urgently to prevent and manage, in the aftermath of the earthquake, the potential public health disasters arising out of diseases that can be distinguished as either water-borne, air-borne/droplet or vector-borne diseases, and contamination from wounded injuries. So, we would like to request you to join hands in support the victims of the one of the most disheartening disasters of the world's history. Everything counts, and even a small contribution and support can make a difference!
