Oral Chemotherapy Fund for Ms. Ilyn Malocloc

Ms. Ilyn is the energetic, lovely and fun-loving teacher you always see in the Early Years area. She always has a smile and a welcoming hg to greet the youngest students in school. Last December 16, she went for a regular check up to consult a cough that has been bothering her for 2 weeks. She was asked to take an x-ray and this revealed that 2/3 of her left lung is filled with fluid. She was confined the next day and the fluid was drained. There they found a 2 cm tumor. On December 26, our dear Ms. Ilyn was diagnosed with left upper lobe lung adenocarcinoma with malignant pleural effusion (stage 4 cancer) and they cannot operate due to the sensitivity of the location. Thankfully, the cancer didn't spread to her other organs nor to her blood. The cancer is contained in her left lung.

Her best course of treatment is to undergo targeted therapy. However this course of treatment is more expensive than regular chemotherapy. The medicine alone costs 5300 myr (1300 usd) per month and on top of that is the regular consultation and other treatment she needs to undergo. This would roughly be around 6500-7000 myr (1600-1700 usd). She needs to take the medication for 10 months and this will put a great strain on their finances.

It's with this in mind that we are appealing to your kind heart to join us raise funds to help Ms. Ilyn cover her medical expenses. She will need at least 70000 myr (17000 usd) to cover all her medical expense. Any amount you can give would be greatly appreciated by her family.
