Campaign Story
Elvis Absima was born on Tuesday, 9th April, 2013 with congenital arthrogryposis of both wrists. Arthrogrypotic wrist is a defect of the wrist joint in which the wrist is bent inwards and becomes stiffy. Elvis stays with both parents at Sunyani, Ghana. Both mother (Mary, 19 years) and father (Isaac, 22 years) are unemployed. I learnt of Elvis plight when I visited Ghana recently for a volunteer work and decided to launch this campaign to seek financial support 2,500 US Dollars for osteotomy to repair the wrists. Please, let’s donate generously for Elvis to undergo surgery to get both wrists straightened. Straightened wrists will allow the hands to work together which will in turn allow the best finger function. Any amount you donate will be greatly appreciated.
