Our work is focusing on developing Community-based Tourism (CBT) projects in Indonesia. Our first CBT project is in Lantan Village, Batukliang Utara sub-district, Lombok, Indonesia has launched in December 2018. We are collaborating with the local people and help them to build their local businesses through tourism as well as preserving their nature and culture.
One of our aim is to build the "Sasak Traditional House" as part of our sustainable tourism programs in order to provide an educational platform for visitors, conserve the local culture and provide job for the local community who lives in rural area that has limited opportunities. The ecotourism site is managed by the local community who trained in Ecotourism and Hospitality by PILAR Indonesia. The traditional house building is expected to be ready by July 2020. The guests are warmly welcome to visit, stay and engage with our local host.
