Support for Camelia Bogdan

In 2018 Camelia Bogdan was selected as the winner of the Ion Ratiu Democracy Award by an international board of former awardees for her courage and defiance in the face of an outrageous attack of spiteful revenge from Dan Voiculescu and his Antena media empire for daring as Judge to sentence him to 10 years imprisonment for theft of state property measured in the hundreds of millions of Euros. Funds which have never been recovered, such is the power and influence that Voiculescu exerts over the media, numerous politicians of all parties and the magistrature itself.

It is well known and proven that Voiculescu was a high ranking Securitate officer who in 1990 and thereafter established his financial empire with the hard currency accounts of Securitate front companies such as Crescent and Dunarea over which he had administrative control.

Voiculescu continues to persecute Camelia Bogdan, who urgently needs our financial support to complete her LL.M.in Business and Finance Law at the George Washington Law School, Washington DC which will help her in addition in fighting against the second expulsion from the judiciary at the High Court of Cassation and Justice, in the file no.927/1/2018, a case which will start in January following a very recent ECJ (European Court of Justice's) decision that upheld her arguments and also at the ECHR (European Court of Human Rights) to seek justice for herself and crucially to pursue the recovery of the hundreds of millions of state assets that Voiculescu has shamelessly stolen from the Romanian people.
