Support Eliza’s music education in Los Angeles College of Music

My name is Eliza and I am a 19-year old musician from Riga, Latvia. I am currently in my last year of studying at Riga Cathedral Choir School in two departments at the same time – jazz music and musical theatre.

I have been accepted to a prestigious college in the United States – the Los Angeles College of Music in the vocal performance Bachelor program. Based on my academic and audition results, the College has awarded me a scholarship, but unfortunately it is not sufficient to cover the whole tuition fee.

I have been working hard on attracting sponsors and other support through a number of funds, both private and public, but I have not yet been able to raise the necessary amount. I am also working three jobs right now – as a private music teacher, a nanny and a manicurist in order to save up any additional money I can to achieve my dream.

• The estimated cost of study and living in the first year is approximately $ 40,000
• The payment for the first quarter must be made by July 5th, but the proof of funds must be submitted by May 1st already

THE GOAL OF THE CAMPAIGN:

• To collect the required amount of tuition and living costs for the first year

ABOUT ME:

• I am currently studying in the vocal jazz and musical theatre programs in the Riga Cathedral Choir School
• I have been playing piano for 15 years and saxophone for 10 years
• I have won numerous national and international singing and saxophone competitions
• I am currently an active member of an a cappella group INSOMNIA, that won the second place award in the Moscow Spring A Cappella Festival 2019
• I also regularly take part in various local musical and theater productions
