Ebru Firat is a French/Kurdish YPG heroine from Toulouse.
After fighting against Daesh (ISIS) with the YPG (People's Protection
Units) in Kobane, she was travelling back to paris when she was
arrested by the Turkish police at Istanbul airport
Falsely accused of planning a suicide
bombing, she is in prison awaiting trial and faces up to 20 years
imprisonment for her commitment to freedom.
We're raising money to pay for her lawyer to visit her before her court appearance on the 8th of November, and to pay for a Turkish lawyer to represent her in the case. The first 1,000 euros will pay for the initial visit, and further money raised will pay for her ongoing legal costs.
