I have been select to attend the Rain Forest Project with the International Youth Conservation Coalition, a 501(c)3 non-profit program based in Edwards, Colorado. International Youth Conservation Coalition provides a local environmental leadership program that culminates in a two-week international conservation project in the Summer. Until our project I will meet once per month and participate in leadership and team-building workshops, effective communication drills, research and give presentations on my host country and environmental projects, and prepare for my time abroad. I will also learn about and train for a local project in conjunction with local land management agencies and implement my project within in my community prior to travel. Our local projects vary and may consist of trail building and maintenance, river and land clean-ups, wildlife trail ambassadors and more. I am excited for this opportunity and appreciate your tuition support Thank you, Champ

rrrr

In January we volunteered with @vvmtatrailambassadors educating the public on the importance of seasonally closed trails and applicable leash laws to protect wintering wildlife.
