Support & Care for Street Children in Cameroon

All over the world, there are kids and teens under age 18 who don't have a home. The “street” has become their home. And of course, by street I mean abandoned buildings, vacant lots, freeway underpasses—anywhere in the city that they can find temporary shelter.Some street children are called “thrownaway children,” children who have one or more parents or guardians but who have been forced out of their homes or have run away from home, often to escape abuse.   Our MissionWe are reaching you via this site, with the help of our partner member and as objectives, to sustain growth and solidify gains. SUCARE intervenes to alleviate poverty and educate, Children, youths and Adults in order to engage and empower disadvantaged communities in Cameroon. VisionSUCARE vision Since its creation in 2008, has been to address issues on poverty, health and welfare issues in rural areas of Cameroon by providing a range of diverse services that:-support orphans, people with disabilities and street children with food, clothing, education and shelter,-ensure people are educated on basic health-care, family planning, immunization and vaccination, sanitation and sex education-promote human rights while enhancing community leadership and civic responsibilities,-develop food security and implement modern agricultural methods,-organize volunteer work camps where local and international recruits engage in community projectsValuesIn SUCARE , passions crystallize in the shared interests to volunteer, give a hand and touch lives. Feedback so far from individuals, groups, communities and organizations has been fulfilling.
