Hello we are from Batumi, Georgia and this is our dog Bimbo, 7 years old. At the end of April we noticed a tumor on his paw. We consult a vet, preliminary diagnosis was Abscess, cytology results showed inflammation. We were offered to insert drain. In a few days we consulted to oncologist vet and she told as that this is a tumor, she looked at cytology and sent both samples to the laboratory. Cytology result: presumably benign tumor. Blood tests were taken, a general analysis, biochemistry, chest x-ray, ultrasound of the internal organs, no deviations in the analyzes and other examination were found. The vet insisted on amputation of the paw to the elbow. On May 26 was supposed to be an operation, the dog was anesthetized, and when they shaved paw and shoulder, they saw another larger tumor on the shoulder blade. They said that its already 100% malignant, We insisted on histology, we refused the operation. The dog is only concerned about the first tumor, we bandage it, treat it daily, cause Bimbo licks it, but then we bandage it, Bimbo is more calmly. At the moment of We decided to apply in Tbilisi to one of the best vet in Georgia, as our friend offered. And we need funds for treatment and care of Bimbo. Thanks everybody!
