Hello everyone!

My name is Jeneren Bacariza, a single mom from Cebu, Philippines. You can call me Jen or Jenny for short. I have one daughter, my only child. I used to believe that she is just a late talker but according to most specialists she has a mild autism.

My birthday is next month and I want to make my special dream come true this time.

This one special dream of mine is to do a community service. I always wanted to do it but the time has always been not cooperative. I always feel like I have not done enough in my life or I feel like I need to do something to others who are helpless.

When I got to see and observe these children with special need, it inspires me a lot. I start to understand what is my other purpose in life when I accepted the fact about my daughter's situation. l felt like there is something I need do for these children's situation.

It doesn't mean that I am helping other children because mine has already improved. What I mean is while my daughter is improving I would also like other children are improving at the same time because their enemy here is time. They might have not enough time before they can afford to start as the case like this they need early interventions as possible or else their brain might not be functional or effective as smoothly as the younger ones.

It breaks my heart seeing them every time at school having their own unaware selves and tantrums where there is nothing you can do upfront to help but just look at them and say "WHAT IF there is something we can do for them to become normal" or if not at least they become functional that they can take care of themselves alone, "WHAT IF s/he is normal? How will he or she be able to embrace the amazing world with full of beauty and awareness?

WHAT IF there were early intervention when they were still babies? Maybe they are normal like any other kids today. A lot of What if's on my mind. Most of all, WHAT IF I did not listen to people telling me to wait until my daughter becomes 3/4 years old to start speaking because I was also convinced myself that she will really speak late but she didn't until 4.5 years old.

Until one day I decided to see a specialist and its how the journey started trying to do all as much as I can to improve her with the help of good people around me and my family.

Thank God I have enough energy to stay strong and I thank to my family and to the people close to me who are always my support system whenever I feel down.

So, I always think that if they were provided enough of educational materials, toys and the right special attention they will improve and become better and better everyday. I am hopeful for my daughter's progress and I am also hopeful for them.

Public SPED school in the Philippines don't have enough or may have enough educational materials inside facilities but the kids at home they don't have.

The SPED class schedule mostly takes 1.5 every other day. So there is more time at home than school.

As for my daughter, I have done lots of test and evaluations only to get the same answers from neuro-developmental pediatricians, psychologist and pathologists.

I believe I have done most of the necessary things for her improvement by buying educational toys and materials to do at home, teacher her and also spending time with her. Sending her to SPED classes where she encounters many autistic classmates who are from less fortunate families. The SPED education is public so its free, however most of them don't have educational materials and toys at home to help them improve.

I see how educational materials are so important to autistic children to improve. Like trampolines, puzzles, swings, slides, colors and many more (l will be checking those online) and thinking to also bring them to do some activities like swimming and playground etc etc. I also pray that we will have enough funds raised to buy a second hand VAN so the transportation is convenient to do all the activities for them so as distributing materials, vitamins and for the regular visits to each of them. Also l would like to do feeding programs for their nutrition.

I am inspired to help other kids specifically who have specials needs because of my daughter. I would do it not just because it feels so good within myself but also she would benefit from it by having them as a playgroup system as well.

She is improving because of educational materials and toys at home and outdoors activities like swimming and playground. I guess God wants me to do something more in this life which is to do good and that is to help other children who have special need.

For autistic children, they need socializing so l would also want to build a healthy playgroup center like to rent a space with all the materials they would need to use to play aside from the materials they will have for their personal use at home.

My daughter will be included with any of these activities because socializing and playgroup are vital during the learning process for any children brain development.

I pray that God will give me more and more strength to do all these and he will heal my daughter and all the kids completely.🙏

I want to be the instrument to help many autistic children as possible but l cannot do it alone, i need your help.

❤️ STEPS to do once the fund is 100% funded in Gods grace;

1) Will set meetings with teachers and parents about he plans and how we can execute and gather each of the kids addresses for future references.

2) Will look for a second hand van as our service to do all the work and activities smoothly and conveniently.

3) Then locate each of the kids house and know about their current situations at home to plan how we can initiate the start.

4) Will then look for best options to order all the educational materials and toys etc etc locally and for those aren't available, will be getting it online.

5) Will provide vitamins and will do feeding program from time to time as food is very important to help their brain function properly.

6) Will also do build a playgroup center or just renting a place then store another set of educational materials and toys for group for them to play with and interact with as a way of socializing.

7) And will visit them from time to time to each of their houses to see improvements. I will be hiring staffs to help me do all that.

I will provide updates and pictures once the project has launched.

Your help in any amount counts. Thank you for your help!❤

May God will continue to bless you.🙏

Sincerely,

Jenny B.
