Support Angel’s Epilepsy Treatment in Austria,

As many of you know I have had epilepsy since the age od 7. My form has always been marginal and not easy to track its nature. I have intense muscle spasms that can last for several hours. For years those spasms were only in my leg, but in the last two years they have started to spread in my hand and sometimes even in my face. This was a very frightening experience and realisation for me and signalised that I should start searching for new solutions for my diagnosis.

The doctors here can not find the exact nature of these epileptic seizures. And that means I do not have suitable treatment. I take medications that might not treat my current situation right and as a result the big doses of those medications damaged some other organs in my body.

A doctor in the neurological hospital in Salzburg- Austria agreed to take my case and provide a comprehensive screening of my brain to detect any other side neuropathologies. Unfortunately, this is an amount of money that I can not afford- nor can a state funding support having in mind the economic crisis that most countries are dealing with currently. At this point only the hospital treatment and screening from the hospital cost around 9000 Euro without travel and/or accommodation costs while I am in Salzburg. I imagine that the costs can go as high as 15,000 Euro. This seems a lot to me or my family and I would never ask for money personally unless I really don't need it.

Any help and donation would be appreciated and would mean that I can go to Salzburg next year and complete my screenings in the university hospital there.

I know that wonders might not happen and this is a diagnosis for a life, but what I hope to live is a pain free life and imagine a future without fear.
