Support Amanda to Fight Cancer

Born on June 16th, 1992, Amanda is a sweet soul who likes to make everyone around her happy, she is always ready to help and so full of kindness. She genuinely believes the best in people, she is smart, brilliant and a goal-getter.

Amanda bravely quit her job to start her own company so that she could hire more women in tech as she has a strong desire to empower women to be self dependent in their own rights.

She has always been driven towards creating things that help people and how these inventions affect people’s lives. Amanda puts in her all when she takes up a cause, which is why being sick is so sad because it’s taking away that very special part of her, that is always helpful and a smile away.

Amanda has been diagnosed with Neuro Fibro Sarcoma on her left leg, which is a recurrence, as she was first diagnosed and treated in 2014. Sadly, she has relapsed and the disease has spread to her lungs. Our hope is to beat it once and for all through chemotherapy and surgery with the funds we hope to raise because she is an amazing soul with so much more to offer.

Neuro Fibro Sarcoma is a malignant nerve sheath tumor, which means they involve the coating around nerve fibers that transmit messages to and from the brain and spinal cord (nervous system) and the rest of the body. This uncommon soft tissue sarcoma makes up less than 1% of all cancers diagnosed each year. It is usually found in the arms and legs and spreads along the nerves. They typically don't reach other organs, although they can spread to the lungs.
