Sanctuary of African Women Organization (SAWO) is a community based organization with a mission to Rehabilitate, Empower, Mainstream, and Mentor teenage, widowed and single mothers in Africa.

SAWO is based in Nairobi and Mombasa counties where we are actively engaging and empowering women.

SAWO implements the following thematic programs:

1. Vocational training in the areas of Tailoring, Hair Dressing/Beauticians, Entrepreneurship, Computer/ICT Training, Beadwork, and Making Sandals/Bags;

2. Re-orienting women from truancy;

4. Counselling and psycho-social support to women;

5. Educating their children;

6. Offering sanctuary to homeless and abandoned women;

7. Providing legal aid and support;

8. Offering micro-credit facility to women;

9. Offer mentorship on motherhood, reproductive health and personal hygiene; and

10. Nurturing talents of girls and women.

For the next 6 months, we aim to reach over 15,000 women to enlist them to SAWO.

I appeal for support towards "The SAWO Center" in Nairobi, Nyamira and Mombasa. We aim to train women members in entrepreneurship at the Mombasa Entrepreneurship & Investment Conference 2017. So your support is key and important. The function will take place on June 15/16. It takes USD. 55 to train and equip one woman on business entrepreneurship.

Thank you,

Juddy K. Anyona,

Executive Director,

Sanctuary of African Women Organization (SAWO),

Nairobi, Kenya.
