My younger brother Fabian Whyte born August 17, 1983 was murdered on July 1st 2015 while buying groceries for his children. He leaves behind six children under the age of 12, Nardo, Shellian, Apple, Mica, Jaheem, and Nica.

Fabian was known as a loving father, brother, son, cousin and friend. He never learned how to read but he was a well known skilled mechanic. He was always positive and looking on the bright side of things. He encouraged his children to go to school and learn how to read to get skills he could only dream off. His eldest son Nardo just passed his common entrance exam this year to attend Anchovy High School, Jamaica, St James. Fabian was so proud of his son achieving this milestone. Tensions between his and the neighbouring community have always been high but this did not stop Fabian from going to visit and provide for his children who live there, unfortunately this caused him to lose his life.

Those who know Fabian always reflect on how friendly, trusting and welcoming he was to everyone regardless of your socio-economic status.

Funeral arrangements are being made in Jamaica, St James, Montego Bay and we hope to present this trust fund to the children to support higher education their father never got.

Please feel free to contact me directly to make a donation so I can avoid processing fees.

  • Every little does help. It was a stranger that blessed me to be where I am today so I would like to do the same for someone else... I am sorry about the lost of a supporting father.
