Campaign Story
Good day from the community of Dagatan Family Farm School.
For 30 years, DFFS existed through the generosity of institutions and individuals that have believed in the cause that we are espousing; the integral formation of the youth and their families as well as the development of the community to where they belong. The school has been providing the same formation for decades.
Operational cash flow had been very challenging since the birth of our school. It is more so at present with the dwindling financial assistance from here and abroad. The current financial inflows coming from the parents can only cover almost a third of the year’s operational needs; we cannot charge so much tuition fees to the families. The additional grants/subsidies coming from partners and collaborators may push the inflow to almost half of it. The challenge to be operationally sustainable, even on a break-even scenario, is very difficult.
As someone who has been part of this journey, I would like to appeal to your more generous being. Presently, we have a project we dubbed as “Support a Student Program”. This is to provide individuals and even institutions an avenue to help the school continue to provide the same kind of formation. Every student is subsidized for Php25K per year. You may want to support so many number of students given the amount or you may want to contribute any amount of your capacity and be part of this fund that would assist the school in its operational difficulties. We are attaching a prospectus for the said project.
Should you have any more questions, you may want to drop us a call at (043) 756 7044 or 0908 862 6568 or send us an email at [email protected] or [email protected].
Thank you very much for your support for this project.
