Naledi Initiative is honored to partner with International Peace Initiatives (IPI) to bring the 2020 Trauma Healing and Peace Summit to Kenya.

The Summit will unite young women from Kenya, with the intention to create a safe environment for healing of vulnerable girls and young single mothers from diverse backgrounds, who are survivors of emotional, sexual and physical abuse. The Summit will offer them a safe space to see beyond their past experiences and present circumstances to a future with promise, supported by a community that holds them in love, non-judgment and acceptance.

This campaign is aimed at supporting girls and young women take charge of their lives through enabling them attend the 2020 Trauma Healing and Peace Summit that will be held at the Tiriji Eco Peace Center, Meru, Kenya.

Robert Strives For The Healing of Women in His Community

Having witnessed his 13-year-old sister suffer sexual and emotional abuse, Robert ventures into creating a space for the healing of young women who have gone through such traumatizing experiences. He feels that this is an amazing opportunity for them to start healing from the unseen wounds.
