ello, First of all, thank you for viewing this campaign. Your support and donations mean the world to me. For anyone that knows me, I'm very passionate about giving back to the communities mainly in foreign countries outside the U.S. (since I love to travel) and my main focus is helping children since they're our future.What is this campaign? This is one of the building blocks for the nonprofit I am currently working on called The Mango House (description at bottom of page). The community center is still in the early stages of development but that doesn't mean we cannot still help. Last year I visited a public elementary school an hour away the main city in Cebu, Philippines. I quickly learned there's limited resources and basic nutrition for these students. Many are malnourished or lack funds for school supplies. The teachers also have many classroom needs but not much notice from the government. With your contribution, you can help provide the students and teachers with enough resources to continue thriving in their education and teaching. Where? Inayawan Elementary School, Cebu City, Philippines What's Needed?The biggest priority is providing the teachers with dry erase whiteboards since their classrooms currently use chalkboards that are in bad shape. In grade 3, there are about 55 students in the class. Each student will receive a backpack (color of their choice) that is filled with a notebook, pens, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, rulers, crayons, paper, flash cards, glue sticks and more surprises! We won't stop there: we are planning a big surprise- an early holiday party with food, drinks and prizes with a Christmas tree (fake of course) and presents from Santa. We believe every child deserves an education and opportunity to succeed in life.
