November 08, 2013 when the super typhoon struck our town. It was a very saddening moment but still was thankful as my family and relatives were all safe. None of us were hurt. A week after the disaster, my family and 1st degree relatives were able to fly out to Cebu to regroup and basically just escape our town. However, things didn't go smoothly since then.

1. A few months after, first quarter of 2014, my Aunt-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer. All of us pitched in for the finances but sadly she didn't make it. The battle lasted for about a year.

2. Around 2015, while my Aunt-in-law was fighting her cancer, we found out that my 1st degree Aunt was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She too didn't make it and passed away last December 2016.

3. Then June 2017 came, my Uncle who is the husband of my Aunt-in-law mentioned above, was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is still currently battling this and honestly, we are running out of funds to sustain his medications and his upcoming operation and this is because,

4. Come 2018, my Mom was diagnosed with diabetes and was found out that it may have been 5 years already that she has diabetes since her kidneys and eyes were already affected. She now has Chronic Kidney Disease - Stage 3 and Diabetic Retinopathy. Currently, her situation is getting worse.

A, As her kidneys are not functioning well, liquid wasn't able to come out of her body and so this resulted to Edema. This Edema has affected her lungs and heart. In other words, she was drowning in her own body.

B. She did receive an operation to remove the liquid from her lungs but this didn't go very well and so she was transferred to the ICU and will also undergo dialysis.

C. We're optimistic that she'll recover although she's not making much progress while our hospital bill is sky rocketing.

All these medical issues with our family has hindered us to really recover from Haiyan/Yolanda. We are a very resilient family and doesn't really ask for any assistance from anyone even when we are not well off. However, these battles of my Uncle and Mom is really just too much this time and this is why we are turning to gogetfunding.com to raise funds for their medical needs especially my Mom's hospital bills. It would be greatly appreciated if you could please help us get through this tough times. Any amount would be of great help to us.

Please don't hesitate to PM me if you wish to verify the authenticity of my campaign. I can send you photos of the medical records of my Uncle and Mom. Also, would be better to send donations directly to my bank account. Honestly, I've never used paypal although I've already registered just now when I created this campaign. You can still send via paypal if it would be more convenient for you.

Thank you so much!
