Sunroof repair

It all started with a dream. A dream to own a Mini Cooper. I know, to most people it is just a car. And to some, they may not even know what it is.

For the last year I have been seeing Minis everywhere. I knew I had to have one and hoped that one day I would. That day came a little over a month ago when I found what I thought was an amazing deal online for a 2007 Mini Cooper. Within the first week of having it, it needed repairs, luckily the warranty that came with it covered it, but still for just getting the car, I was a little disappointed.

Well about a week ago, another disaster happened. My sunroof broke. It just stopped working. When I took it to Mini they said it would cost $1000 to put a motor in it then if it needs a cassette another $2000 for that. I called the dealer where I bought it and of course they were not willing to make it right. Too expensive of a repair and they said it was not covered under that warranty. But they did offer me to trade it in for a Honda Fit. Which I do not care for at all. And who is to say I may not have troubles with it?

Anyway, I know this is a real longshot and I probably will not collect the amount needed before this Friday, the day I am supposed to trade my beloved Mini in.

If you can help at all I would really and truly appreciate it. I really want to keep my Mini. I love it.
