Summer is the worst time of year for most rescues. There are way more dogs to take in than there are familys that want to adopt. People dump their dogs more often in the summer months than any other time of the year. Here at Howl at the Moon we have taken in double the amount of dogs than what we normally take in at once. This has saved their lives, but unfortunately has depleted our funds. We are in need of summertime help with vet bills.
Each dog here gets all vaccinations, fecal and heartworm tested, treated for any and all parasites, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. That costs approx $250 per dog. If they are heartworm positive it is WAY more than that. Please help if you can!
