Summer Learning for Inner City Scholars

The objective of this campaign is to aide in providing summer learning for ten families in the inner cities of Watts , Compton , Carson , Los Angeles , and more. Summer is the time when learners forget all of what they have accumulated in their brains over the course of a given school year. With the program being offered to these families , it will certainly start a chain reaction and help pilot a collegiate pipeline for those that are under-served. This program is dynamic and offers tutoring , enrichment , mentoring , and weekly outreach activities to help throttle the mission of scholars first each and everyday. Additionally , they will receive food , beverage , a scholar shirt , backpack filled with supplies and a grocery gift card to start the 2017-2018 school year off to an excellent start. In order to boot this campaign up , I have donated to get 5 families into the facility. The ultimate goal is to help at least 20 families this summer with a scholarship. This is given that funding during the summer is often limited for families within these given communities. Let us be the change and get the ball rolling , all it takes is one.
