Hello! I am Katrina Conte. As you may know I love to dance, and have been doing so since I was three years old. I am a sophmore at the Lehigh Valley Charter School for the Arts in Bethlehem PA.
Recently, I auditioned to study this summer at Leon Dance Arts NY company in New York. When I got the letter that I was accepted I was speechless!
Leon Dance Arts is a three- week professional dance program that is one of a kind. Leon trains dancers in classical and contemporary ballet, Broadway, contemporary and street jazz, modern, improvisation, hip hop and ballroom. I have the opportunity to be trained by some of the most prestigious dancers and choreographers in the country!
Unfortunately, I am learning that training in New York is costly! I plan on only attending two of the three weeks. It will cost $3,000.00 just for tuition and housing.
