Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) 2014

Hi everyone! This summer I will be returning to Madaba, Jordan to teach English to under privileged students at King's Academy through their Summer Enrichment Program (SEP). This programed is designed to help impoverished middle school students from around Jordan gain English language and IT skills by giving them the opportunity to study English for two weeks at the country's most prestigious school. I will be teaching 7th grade this year and we will not only read a class book (TBD), but also work on poetry and writing personal essays. I am so excited to return to Jordan and use last year's experience to help me become a better teacher this year! What I am asking for is donations that will go towards 12 copies of the class book as well as general classroom supplies. In order for SEP to operate, especially on its limited budget, it needs the help of all our different communities. Not only that, but supplies are much cheaper and more readily accessible in the US and UK. Any donation would be helpful and mean the world to both me and my future students. Thank you so much!
