Sumbawa Dog Rescue

WE NEED HELP, PLEASE.

Hey friends, i really REALLY need your help right now. We have found a dog on the island of Sumbawa who was caught by a person.

This person wrapped wire around the dogs waist, and sliced through her skin almost to the bone. We believe she has escaped from the dog meat trade and by some miracle ran right into us. I've heard about these things happeneing, but this is the most horrific thing i have ever seen.

We have her in a secure space at the moment, where she is currently safe, but terrified.

We have found a generous vet who is willing to travel from Lombok to Sumbawa with a car and colleagues to pick this dog up, remove the wire, give her antibiotics and hopefully save her life. He runs a clinic and a shelter in Mataram, Lombok. He is our only hope.

What we need to pay for exactly is:

The transport of the vet & nurses from Lombok to Sumbawa ( car by ferry boat) to & from the island, fuel for the car, and fee of the driver

The anesthesia, and surgery of the dog by the vet and colleague's

The medication, and antibiotics to support her after the surgery

And homing her at the shelter in Lombok

To save her it is going to cost us 5 million rupiah, so 500$ CAD we currently have some donations left from the bakso for bali dogs campaign but we need 3

2.5 million rupiah more

200$ Canadian more.

If you can please, please spare anything im sitting here with this suffering dog who is worth saving and can live a happy life after this. But we need your help to save her.
