We are a Swedish based, not for profit, organization working in the municipality of Heby. For over three years we have implemented programs and projects to help migrants and refugees form the Middle East and Africa. Our projects help migrants in migrants with Swedish language, reskilling, support and provide a platform of hope for a better future.

Their backgrounds, and journeys, before arriving in Sweden are often challenging and in many cases heart-breaking. In January 2018, Sultan joined our program as a participant. Sultan is originally from Eritrea and had to leave his home in 1999 after the tragic death of his father. Fearing for the safety of his family and himself, his wife fled to Ethiopia and Sultan started a 14 year journey through Ethiopia, Yemen and Egypt working where-ever possible and sending money to his wife and child. In 2014 the Red Cross arranged travel to Sweden after Sultan was detained in an Israeli prison for more than one year without charge.

Now separated from his wife and children for more than 18 years, Sultan continues to send what little money he receives from the Swedish Social Services to his wife to pay for food and schooling for his youngest child. Sultan’s dream is to be re-united with his family. Without documentation for his youngest child Swedish immigration cannot permit their entry to Sweden.

Sultan is an amazing individual. Facing depression, anxiety and sleepless nights, he has gained friendship, a sense of purpose and hope through our program.

Our aim. and commitment, to Sultan is to raise money for his travel to Ethiopia to apply for a Residents Permit. We have helped with Sultan’s Visa application for travel to Ethiopia and hope that very shortly Sultan and his family will be reunited after a traumatic 18 year period.

We hope that with your help and support we can help Sultan feel peace and rebuild his life again together with his family. Please donate. We believe that after 18 years apart, they truly deserve to be reunited!
