Campaign Story
Myself and my family have recently suffered the loss of a son, dad, brother, uncle and friend through suicide and I have been shocked at the lack of direct support to this type of bereavement, in the local area.
Therefore I have decided to start up a Suicide Bereavement Service (along with other Bereavement services) in order to help the children and other family members left behind after a suicide.
Suicide seems to be a taboo subject and that needs to change in order for us to help people through the difficult times after the death of a loved one.
Our service will provide the following activities and sessions:
Dealing with grief, counselling sessions, group sessions, residential trips, memory boxes, memorial services, a memorial tree/wall, a quiet/reflection room, cafe/shop, a memorial garden and weekly activities for children (i.e a disco or games night).

I need to raise £5000 in order to launch this worthwhile cause and in return for any donations I am offering the following rewards:
£1 - £50 = a personal thank you on the service's website
£51-£100 = a VIP ticket to the official launch of the service
£101 + = both of the above plus a personalised thank you on a plaque inside the centre upon it's launch next year

I know it's not much but that's all I have on my pay pal account and in my bank I never got chance to go to Chris's funeral and never got chance to pay my respects so to donate to any cause would mean so much to me thankyou x
