Studying abroad (Italy)

I'm fundraising for booking a trip to Italy.

I’m an 18-year-old student who recently graduated from high school, and I’m pursuing a big dream, which could become a reality within the next few months by studying abroad.

I’ve always appreciated and admired Italy and the Italian culture, and that’s why early in high
school I set a personal goal to find an Italian university with a degree program I could enroll in.

Unfortunately, my opportunities are limited in my country, but I don’t intend to stay abroad forever. I plan to return to the place where I spent the best years of my life and help contribute to make a significant change in society today. For those who do not know me, I am from Peru, and I’m very proud of where I come from. At the same time, I feel that my country deserves more than what it is receiving from its governors who only care about themselves and not about the people nor the country itself.


Education here is a business, and students struggle to pay expensive fees which universities impose on them, which creates a burden of debt that can take years to pay off. It is sad but true. I know I'm not the only one who wants to make a difference, but we need support in order to achieve our goal. That's why we're asking for help from people who understand us and our situation. Some day I'd like to be part of that enormous list of the presidents that've ruled over my country, and hope to make a positive impact on this one.

I'm an ambitious young man, who thinks that, with the proper help and resources, can achieve anything. The sky's the limit, as most wise men say. Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world, and most young people should be aware of this. Never underestimate the power of knowledge. We won’t give up on our ideals, so please help us by preserving them.


Now, getting to the point of my fundraising campaign. Unfortunately, My family can’t afford all the costs of the trip at the moment because my mother has just given birth.

Thankfully, they can afford the university tuition fees for the entire degree program, which has a duration of three years. We’ve also managed to find a been benevolent family who has agreed to host me for a considerable amount of money, and a big thank you is due to them if they are reading this. Taking this all into consideration, I see myself with the need to kindly ask you for any donation you want to make, as every dime is appreciated. Your donations ($1500) will cover, basically, my flight to Italy from Peru, so I can start my studies at the university.
