Study in Educator!

Hi! I am Sierra and I am a second year student of Physical Therapy. I hope that through attending this 4 week course in Ecuador and practice Medical Spanish that I can apply this to my career as a Physical Therapist. On my last clinic, I witnessed language barrier and miscommunication that occurred when a man came into the clinic who only spoke Spanish. None of the 5 Physical Therapists were able to communicate with him and therefore struggled in their ability to help treat him as well as create a connection. Improving my medical Spanish would allow me to serve a greater population.
