Study Abroad Trip to Valencia, Spain

I am a freshman at Florida State University majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry and Spanish. My goal is to be able to go to Valencia, Spain to study abroad for the summer of 2016. I feel like it will be a great experience that will have an impact on me for the rest of my life. I want to be able to see how it is to live and study in another country. I would like to also see how the children of Spain are and what is the health world over there like. My main goal in life is to attend medical school after obtaining my Bachelor's degree and become a pediatrician. I love children and want to impact many of their lives as I possibly can. As a young child I struggled with being sick a lot due to complications with allergies and eczema. They might have not been the worst sicknesses but they did affect my life. I remember how I used to feel once I went to the doctor and was prescribed medicine. I remember feeling happy. I want to do be able to do that for others. I want to help them and impact their lives. I feel like this trip to Valencia will not only change my perception of things but it will help me get closer to my goals in life.
