Study Abroad Summer 2013- Prague, Czech Republic

Hello Family and Friends!

 As most of you know I am a 2^nd year student at The College of William & Mary.  I am Business Major planning to pursue a career that will allow me to work for a Major Corporation on a Global level. 

I am active in various organizations, clubs, and groups on campus, and in the community.  I am also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.   Since my freshmen year, I have been involved with a program mentoring girls at a local Middle School each Friday afternoon.

My dream for a long time has been to go abroad during my undergraduate studies.  I have an opportunity to study abroad this summer at Charles University in Prague.  I will be studying The Holocaust in Czechoslovakia & Czech and European Art and Architecture and will earn 7 credits this summer.  As I travel, live, and study in Europe, I am certain that I will grow as a person and learn more about others and myself during these 7 weeks.  I am very excited!! 

I worked 2 jobs last summer to save, and I currently work about 10-12 hours a week at a local retailer here at school in Williamsburg, VA.   

I need your help. I am asking first, that you pray for me as I travel. My travel dates are May 14^th  – July 2^nd.  I am also hoping that you will prayerfully consider assisting me in the funding for this program.  The balance that I still need to cover my trip is $2500.  Any amount that you can donate will help! No donation is too small.

Thank you prayerfully considering and thank you so much for praying for me as I travel. I know that this trip will be life changing and I cannot wait to share all about it when I return.
