Study Abroad: South Korea Documentary

Hello People of the internet!~ ?????!~

This little project is something we, myself and my good friend Charlie are very passionate about. Studying in South Korea. It is our dream to go over to that wonderful country as we wish to work there in the future and now, at university we have been offered the opportunity to go and study there for a semester.

We study Film Production currently and are very passionate about East Asian cinema and the Media industry, that is why we think this is a golden opportunity that we shouldn't let slip away.

The only issue for myself and Charlie is the cost, a few thousand British Pounds is what we need to pay in exhange for us to stay there. We have until Septermber 2015 to apply and put forward this amount in order to attend our desired university and therefore we are working and pushing as many fundrasing activities as possible to make this a possibility.

However, this is not our only aim...

As you may or may not know, South Korea has a booming film, media, drama indusry and it is fast becoming known globally. More and more people are becoming familiar with South Korea and it's culture and therefore more people may be interested in visiting South Korea in the future.

If we are given the opportunity to study in South Korea, Charlie and I, as film makers wish to document our experiance. We want to show what it is like to be an exhange student going to South Korea and bring an audiance along with us on our adventure. Recently, making short videos like this and posting them on sites such as YouTube have become popular on the internet, therefore, we thought it would be a good idea to make a full documentary rotating around this concept. Also, this documentary may inspire others to study abroad, answer questions people may have about the whole 'student exchange' ideology and also, get more people to fall in love with South Korea and East Asia just like myself and Charlie have done. Therefore, with this opportunity, we wish to create such a project.
