This is a once in a lifetime chance to study Nursing in Quito, Ecuador with faculty from my school (Bellarmine University) and become more culturally diverse. The girls on the trip will be spending 4 weeks in Ecuador, in the hospitals there and occassionally learning in a classroom about the Ecuadorian culture ans leadership/management skills needed in the nursing field. We will be staying with families there that have volunteered and have been aproved to host students in their home. This will serve as a great opportunity to excel in my Spanish skills and continue in my journey to master the language. The trip truly is a blessings to my future.
