Studio is aimed to all-round development of the child: from speech, imagination, and motor to social and communication skills, coordination, strength and courage.

Goals of the project:

- the integration into society of people with disabilities and life challenges;

- acquisition of social skills;

- developing their skills of independent decision-making under conditions of increased freedom of choice;

Relevance of the project.
According to data of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, today our country is officially a home to more than 3,200 people with autism. In fact, as representatives of public organizations say, the real figures are much bigger. Special and general education Kiev schools enrolled more than 1,500 children with mental and physical disabilities, including autism. In Kiev and its closest areas live more than 1,200 people with autism under the age of 35.
Every day, parents of children with special needs have to fight for the health and the rights of their children. In addition to the catastrophic shortage of specialists in Ukraine, problems with early detection and disinterest of officials to help with issues of autism, the parents have to think about socialization of their children.

Socialization of children with autism is a multi-faceted process of assimilation to the experience of public life, and through this project we will make this experience successful! In addition, the complexity of social environment can be a strong incentive for further overcoming of signs of autism.
Education in the studio of socialization is targeted at groups for children (5-10 years old) and lasts for 12 months, during which series of studies on home adaptations conducted, as well as series of activities to prepare for visiting public places (grocery store, hairdresser, hospital, etc. )
In addition to working on the socialization of children with mental and physical disabilities, we will also work with adults with mental and physical disabilities. The studio will have three groups of adults 11-16, 17-30, and 31-40 years old. All our future students will differ on the aspect of contact ability, behavioral problems , and the level of intellectual development. However, they all share the inability to everyday situations and the difficulty of applying existing knowledge in real life. Such a failure of an autistic person in the social and domestic sphere makes it virtually impossible for him to exist independently in the community, also it creates difficulties for his family.

Classes of home adaptation are aimed at the acquisition of personal hygiene (toilet, showering, brushing teeth), and household skills (dusting, sweeping and washing the floor, washing laundry, washing dishes, etc.).
Helping our students with mental and physical disabilities to acquire more autonomy in elementary everyday behavior, we will improve the overall organization of their behavior, help with development of emotional interaction, and teach to control their behavior and change their position in family relations.
After the successful assimilation of social skills by older groups, the next step is supposed to be professional skills, and further support for employment.
