Campaign Story
Hello!
I am a student at high school in Hradec Králové (Czech Republic).
I am studying to become a luthier, and I am currently building a classical guitar (after Torrés), and, as almost every student, I don't have enough money for all the materials, hardware, etc.
The materials will be payed to the school account on the date 12th of December.
- Soundboard: tsuga canadensis
- Back, sides: american nut
- Fingerboard, saddle: rosewood
- Bridge and nut: bone
I want to use hardware (tuning pegs, fret-wire) that will neither be too cheap or too expensive.
That means this http://www.bachmusik.com/n-6028-gd_p36 will be more than suitable.
- Whole guitar will be varnished in a fast-form of natural shellac; so typical for the instruments of the 19th century.
I am looking forward for your gracious support!
Thank you for any kind of donation.

The guitar will be used by musicians in this project: http://songsofmiddleearth.net/, where I am also participated; I even built two instruments for the project in the past, steel-string acoustic guitar (Martin's Dreagnought model) and the 'Lindarwen' (elvish for 'Singing Maiden'), electric guitar (Stratocaster model), a request guitar for the czech tolkien-related band False Fellowship.
'Lindarwen':
Obviously, I play the guitar myself as well; on The Songs of Middle-Earth project, here is one of my recordings: http://songsofmiddleearth.net/song?songid=186
I also do some repairs; you can find a lot of older instruments worth of the care, and, after a while, they play again. Here's an example: german guitar-lute from the 70s', reconstructed by me:
