Student Teacher

I am single mother who decided to go back to school, and now I’m already on my senior year in college. I took Bachelor in Secondary Education, major in English. I am currently enrolled in one of the premier state universities in the Philippines.

I’m 23 and I have a five year old daughter. In the past three years, I was able to sustain my needs at school by working part time after school hours and during weekends. I also obtained free education of my grades. This semester, I am already in my on the job training as a student teacher.

Today, I am full of hope that as I create an account here, I could raise enough amount to be able to purchase a laptop which is a necessity to teachers. That is my only wish. I could not afford to buy myself one because I have to prioritize my other needs at school. Even if I am a full scholar, I still need to pay for the miscellaneous fees, and what’s even costly is my needs every day to go to school, and the projects and all.

I really hope people would help me. If someone with a big heart would by destiny read this, and would want to donate a laptop, even if it is a used one as long as it’s still functioning, I would accept it with a grateful heart.

I promise that as soon as I get a stable job after I graduate, I would be very willing to help students like me who go through tough times just to reach their dreams.
