Student in moped accident

Hi.

A couple of months ago I was driving my friends moped - with her permission - before it slipped on the asphalt and I lost control over it. It almost hit two girls standing next to a big van, so in order to not hit them and the van, I had to quickly throw the moped off to the right, consequently falling to the ground while the moped was dragged along the aphalt.

The moped was so badly damanged it had to be repaired. The problem is that the owner didn't have an insurance on the moped, and if she'd told me I would never have gotten on it. Now I'm left to pay for the reparations. I am a poor student and this is a lot of money to me. :(

I currently work as much as I can to pay her back, but economy is hard with the usual things also needing to be purchased. I have to send my friend's father 1500NOK every month until I've paid it back. I've currently managed to pay him 3000NOK out of the total 8000NOK.
