Stroke Rehabilitation for Mr Pakhti

Mr Pakhti who is 71 and lives in Thailand had a stroke two months ago. After two months of therapy he is able to walk with a walker, but needs adult diapers and regular trips to the hospital which is an hour away by a neighbours car.

He is a fighter who asks for nothing from others but has a meagre income but there is a good prospect with a little help this year that he can make adequate recovery so as to be able to take care of his own basic needs and live with dignity.

I adopted this cause because of his upstanding character and prospects, amongst others, but am no longer able in the present situation to continue, divertiing available funds to assist selected families with subsistance during the Covid restrictions when they cant work, there being no other sources.

I would appeal to anyone who can to donate what they can in these difficult times so that this elderly gentleman can complete his treatment and be able to take care of himself once more.
