Growing up without a child is really painful when you see other women neglecting their children in the streets to go through the harsh conditions of life.

In 2009, i happened to go on a voluntary service in with an NGO in Ghana to offer my heart to them and also learn. With my 2 years of stay, I had a lots of questions to ask life if I had a chance. One of the questions were, why do you threat some people in some part of the world badly? You could see street children die of hunger, sickness, and many forms of harsh and unpleasant conditions. Children as young as 5 -10 years have become advocate of hunger and sickness. They get knocked down by vehicles sometimes when as sleep. Many people could stand this without help, but my my hesrts and soul could not stand it. so I decided to go home in 2010 to save some money to aid a project with is now called the " Streetchildhome " project.

The main idea behind the project is to bring joy and smile to the faces of street children who have been abandoned in the streets, provide them with shelter, clothing, food, Education and medical care. It's always been my deepest passion to make human happy through any way so I found it manifest in helping children and making them happy.

I started this project with $50,000 which was my lifetime saving and loan from friends and families. I did this because I love to make children smile. I acquired 2 acres of land and put up some structure which at then could contain about 50 children and I employeed 15 workers, which some where cooks, teachers, and cleaners and nurses. The government of Ghana also aided the project in providing foods, medical facilities, and clothing to help the children.

The number keeps increasing each and every day and this has itd own inherent cost and responsibilities attached.

I heard from a friend that the best place to seek for funding to aid this project is gogetfunding

Currently, we have acquired 10 acres of land are putting up school, clinic, and and more homes to accommodate the children. We currently have about 500 children and the number keeps increasing each and everyday and also the building project is also ongoing and we really need everyone's support and every token you provide is never small, but you can transform a life with it.

Parents, institutions, philanthropists should come to our aid to help transform the lives of this vulnerable children. Everyone reading this story should be touched and come to the aid of the child. Everyone can save a life. Let's come together and bring joy to the children.

Out of simply instilling the same values and interests, we have been able to and still are connecting with a considerable base of donors and have created a secured relationship with them.

Streetchildhome project is gravely concerned with the tons of children in Ghana and especially from rural areas who are born into a stark reality: will they work in markets and mines, quarries or go to school? Will they be trafficked into slavery, as they constantly do trying to travel through the sahara desert to Europe on desperate journeys with slave traders or be free? Will they be abused with child labour, or be students? Many children grow up in a daily life marked by violence; the images of poverty, child labour, domestic violence, abuse, persecution and loss of family. These traumatized children suffer depression, nightmares, loss of self-worth and often are the source of future aggression. Each year an estimated 5 million children die of hunger and diseases in Ghanaian villages alone and some are born with still births due to lack of basic health facilities the mothers lack. All children around the globe, no matter where they come from, have the rights to education, rights to health, rights to nutritive diet, rights to water, rights to care, and all other rights associated to human. The children who have the access to their rights grow as an independent individual who can break through the cycle of poverty be empowered to take their future into their own hands and play an active part in shaping it.
