Campaign Story
Street Assist Edinburgh is a group of volunteer nurses, first Aiders and welfare support who provide free emergency care to sick, injured or vulnerable people on the streets of Edinburgh.
Our sole purpose is to reduce A&E attendances and ease the pressure on the ambulance service by assessing and treating people who need help but do not need these services. We care for intoxicated, lost and disoriented people and provide them with a place of safety and a means to get home.

This is a brilliant service provided by volunteers. Helping people who might have had one too many or alone because they have been separated from friends. Thank you all for looking after us when we might be a bit tipsy to do so ourselves.
