Stray Dogs in Greece, CORINTHIA

I am a foreigner who is living in Greece for several years. Since coming here I have been astonished over the number of stray dogs I see everyday. After surviving a near death stage in my own health, I felt like God gave me a new chance in life and I want to give back. I had a strong feeling inside of myself to give compassion to these stray animals. For many year’s I have been rescuing stray dogs and preventing them from further suffering.

Greece has a very hot climate, often reaching over 50°C/120°F in the warmer months. Can you imagine the thirst and dehydration that these poor animals experience? Without food sometimes the dogs kill each other leaving the weaker dogs to die. Each and every day of these poor animals life is a test of survival.Since the beginning this has been a difficult undertaking for one person and I need help. Everyday I find at least 3 stray dogs left to perish in the mountains.

I’m pleading with Animal lovers from all over the world for help.

We need food, medicine, vitamins daily.
