“Stray Heaven” Stray dogs Shelter

In Greece there are over 1,8 millions stray dogs and during the economic crisis this number gets bigger and bigger. Most of these dogs have been abandoned by their owners, or they were born stray and never had a home or family. Being a stray dog in Greece is really hard, they live on the streets and most of them starving and die very young, because of car accidents or by poisoned food that people leave on the streets in order to get rid of them. Moreover, it is not rare to hear about violent deaths of stray dogs, which have been tortured by human beings.

So, the aim of this campaign is to create a dog shelter in my city Thessaloniki (20.000 stray dogs) in order to help as many of those dogs, as I can. I am tired of seeing around me stray dogs living in horrible conditions and dying because nobody takes the responsibility for them and I want to have a chance to offer them a better life, with a safe place to stay and daily food and care. I know, that my aim is difficult and I probably can't save them all, but one by one you can make a difference.
