Story of the konoba project support

Donations received with this campaign will be used to maintain Story of the konoba project. Konoba is Croatian word for traditional wine cellar. Story of the konoba project goal is to preserve and promote Croatian cultural heritage thru different kind of public activities like cultural events, presentations, and publishing of books and articles. Project author is Miki Bratanić who already involved more than fifteen years in project. His family konoba have a status of "Protected cultural heritage of Republic of Croatia". He published three books dedicated to konoba; "THE KONOBA" "STORY OF THE KONOBA" and "STORIES FROM KONOBA - FOR KIDS". He presented its story to audience at New York, Boston, San Francisco, and many Croatian cities so far. Many UNESCO cultural heritages like "Mediterranean food", "Dalmatian acapella singing", "Starigrad plain" and "Following the cross- procession" are part of this story.

With this support author and his family will be able to keep to preserve and promote this word wide human heritage, and help to build Croatian cultural branding.
