Stop modern slavery around the world

Recently, I have been alerted to the horrors of human and sex trafficking all around the world. There are 27 million slaves on the earth today! And at least 9 million of them are children. No matter where you live, chances are there is a slave working near by. I live in California and I was surprised to learn that there were slaves working not even a mile away from my home! Of course, conditions are much worse in less developed countries. Slaves are beat and kept in inhumane conditions. This needs to be stopped!

I would really like to donate to the cause, but unfortunately I do not have enough money myself. I am hoping to raise 15,000 dollars to directly donate to an organization that is helping stop human trafficking in my own country, the US and around the world. All the money that is collected will go directly to the Polaris Project Organization. They fight against slavery not only in the US but also globally. Please Donate!! I encourage everyone to watch some videos on the monstrosity of human trafficking, no one should have to go through that. Slavery cannot be allowed to remain on this planet!
