Stop Lovable Tank From Going Blind

This lovable little tank (english staffordshire bull terrier) needs to have eye surgery for cataracts. He is going blind and needs surgery to prevent complete blindness and to also ease the secondary infection that developed, causing him extreme discomfort and pain. Surgery is $3500. When we got him a puppy, we were told he had been tested and was negative for cataracts. Turns out breeders had made up certifcate themselves. Thought we had done our research and gone to legitimate breeder to get a dog that was healthy but were lied to just so these people could profit. Now we are out of pocket and our previous dog is suffering.
