We are all subject to Bad Faith from insurance companies. This happens when they fail to properly investigate or refuse to investigate the circumstances of a loss. The practice of delay, deny and defend is the preferred method employed by insurance companies to avoid paying claims. There is also a practice of dragging you through the mud with endless investigations to wear down the policyholder in hopes that you will just go away.

All of us know someone that this has happened to, perhaps it was you, another family member or a friend or even your neighbor. It results in huge profits to the insurance companies and they will continue to employ such tactics until someone stops them or gives them a bloody nose. Not all insurance companies are bad or behave this way. Most insurance companies understand their fiduciary responsibility and treat their customers with dignity paying their claims quickly and fairly. But, those who do employ such tactics prey on their policyholders for profit and consequently place their interests first rather than you, the policyholder.

I am a simple family man with a small business that cared for 13 employees and their families. Because I am a victim of insurance company bad faith, I am forced to sue them for an honest claim even after presenting them with every possible documentation you can imagine including forensic reports proving the loss. Now, it becomes a fight like David vs Goliath. I have established a legal fund to litigate against my insurance company and I have invested over $65,000 of my own money to this cause. I have an excellent team of trial lawyers who anticipate an additional $150,000 needed to get through trial and possible appeals. I welcome any and all help and no amount of help is too small. We are preparing for trial now and at the conclusion of these proceedings I will donate a percentage of the verdict to the next person(s) in need of such help.
