Stop Chinese from slaughtering dogs

Hi, my name is Lara Thompson. I'm a 26 year old girl, studying medicine.

Since I was a little girl I was blessed by the unconditional love of my pet dog, Cookie. Recently I decided to gather money for a cause that is very dear to my heart. Stopping the slaughter of dogs. It is an issue not only in China, but in South Korea and Indonesia as well.

Dogs are very intelligent and caring creatures, and it hurts me so much to think that every day more and more die just for the pleasure of the palate of too many people. Moreover the way they are treated before being killed is just plain disgusting.

I am planning to spend all the money raised for that cause and split it amongst the many organization who strive to protect the rights of our dog friends.
