Stonewall Japan Needs You!
We're doing a shout out for help! As Stonewall Japan grows bigger each year and more of the LGBTQIA+ community are becoming connected, we're asking for any donations and monetary support that can help us keep doing what we're doing as well as improving.
Examples of what your donation will contribute towards is outlined below:
Donate to help keep our English web resources updated!
- Our web team is constantly working hard to continuously add more English resources onto our website to help the LGBTQIA+ community have access to the most updated information. However the maintenance of a website and server costs us money and your donation will help keep our resources alive!
You can check out our website here.
Donate to support the local leaders stay connected and implement their projects!
- Many of our volunteers are all over Japan and thus are unable to meet face to face. As a result, we need an online file sharing system that allows us to collaborate and work as a team in the design, implementation and execution of our projects for Stonewall Japan. It ensures that Stonewall Japan stays connected and our leaders are supported. Unfortunately, systems that have good privacy and securiy systems in place (and we take this seriously) costs money and your donation would help contribute to these file sharing and video conferencing costs.
Donate to help us find those in the LGBTQIA+ community needing help!
- Many people don't realise there is a strong LGBTQIA+ community here in Japan that can help and support them. We want to connet to as many peple as possible, so potential new members have access to anything from finding local, queer friends to resources about transitioning in Japan etc. To do this, we incur advertising costs (such as pride booths) and hold events across Japan to help connect the community. Your donation would help us pay for these costs and have a pool of funds to pay for deposits when we hold larger events. Any money that goes into Stonewall Japan will always go back to the LGBTQIA+ community.
